Barista – No Monday Club | Mt Eden

No Monday Club is opening in Mt Eden at the end of August, and we’re looking for a barista to join us from the beginning! ☕ We’re a brand-new neighbourhood café built around great coffee, good food and creating a place people actually enjoy coming to — whether they’re customers or part of our team. About the role We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the coffee machine and proactive on the floor. You don’t need to be a competition-level barista, but you should genuinely care about making good coffee and be comfortable working independently during a busy service. Ideally, you can: * Dial in espresso and adjust the grind throughout the day * Texture milk consistently * Make basic latte art — a clean heart is absolutely fine! * Understand espresso extraction and recognise when a coffee needs adjusting * Work efficiently and keep your coffee station clean and organised * Communicate well with customers and the rest of the team * Take initiative rather than always waiting to be told what to do * Stay calm and positive during busy periods Weekend availability is important, particularly Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
